I like The View and that it is back as printed

The View is definitely the most important magazine in my professional life. I would have been a less great consultant without it. Have not seen any blogger write about them much so I thought I should share.

Not sure when the first issue came out, but have been reading every issue for at least 10 years. When I started my own business there was not doubt if I should get my own subscription.

Latest issue I got printed. For a while they have only provided online access to the articles, but now the printed version is back as a complement. I like that !

Some issues are so full of usable information that it gives more value than the annual subscription fee.  The authors are among the best Lotus professionals in the world. Only bad thing is that when you read the their resume you feel slow and lazy. They got MBA and MS and they have coauthored a book about sustainable development of farming in the Amazonas. In their spare time they build small scale fusion plants. Today they publish an article in The View about xPage. I made that up, but you get the picture.

I would also recommend the events like AdminEurope. I am going to Copenhagen in December to gain a level or two.
