Signatures handling got a lot better in 8.5

I just had a conversation with a customer. Thay had been told it is not possible to add pictures and definitely not clickable pictures in the signature of Lotus Notes mail.

Well as you know it has been possible for a long time but it has had some usability shortcommings. With version 8.5 and in this specific case 8.5.1, the signature handling just got a lot better.

1. You can paste "any" content into the signature field in your inbox preferences.

2. It is saved inside the mail database, not on your desktop.

I assisted the customer with upgrading of the mail design of her mail into version 8.5. Eureka, now she got a signature function matching her needs!

Another example of how important it is for us Business Partners to get the customers on the latest release of IBM Lotus Notes and Domino.

I attached a simple instruction showing how it can be used: signature.pdf

Well that is great tip for some users that need to have a GFX in there signature but that is not going to work for Corp with thousunds of employees

There you need to customize the signature in Mailtemplate. Been there done that.
